You can help the Cowlitz County CASA program by getting involved throughout the year.
- Backpack Project -- CASA provides backpacks to all school aged children represented by the program. This project begins in mid-July and ends when all kids have received their packs. You can help gather supplies; pack backpacks; distribute backpacks; etc.
- Sponsor a Family (Thanksgiving and/or Christmas)-- CASA attempts to find community sponsors for relative placement families. These families do not receive monetary services for having the children placed in their homes...they are keeping the kids simply because they love them. These are often the most needy families.
- Help promote CASA at various community events.
- Assist with the annual Dinner & Auction fundraising event.
