You can be the strongest voice for an abused child. You have the opportunity to do something extraordinary. Are you thorough, logical and reliable? Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and use those attributes to:
- Be a strong advocate for an abused child, regardless of your own professional or educational background.
- Determine the most appropriate resolution for a child caught in the legal system.
- Recommend to the court a course of action that will focus on the well-being of the child.
- Ensure that educational and social services are working to meet the needs of the child.
- Guide the child to a safe and permanent home.
